Experienced Tampa Bay Insurance Law Attorney

At Licznerski Law, PLLC, I manage insurance challenges, including those involving insurance coverage denials, personal injury protection (PIP) and property insurance concerns. My name is Alexander Licznerski, and I have nearly a decade of experience handling insurance company claims and fighting on behalf of policyholders. If you need assistance with an insurance dispute, please contact my firm by calling 813-934-3519 or sending an email to set up a confidential appointment.

Insurance Coverage Denial

An insurance coverage denial occurs when an insurance company refuses to pay for a claim made by a policyholder. This means that the insurer has determined that the service, treatment or loss for which the policyholder sought coverage does not meet the criteria or conditions outlined in their insurance policy.

It’s important to understand that a denial is different from a claim that’s covered but applied to your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum. In those cases, the service is covered, but you are responsible for a portion of the cost based on your plan. A denial, however, means that the insurance company won’t pay anything for that specific claim.

When a claim is denied, the insurance company is typically required to send you a formal denial letter explaining the specific reason for the denial and outlining your rights to appeal the decision. Understanding the reason for the denial is the first step in deciding how to proceed, which often involves filing an appeal or providing additional information.

It is important to have an experienced insurance attorney on your side to ensure that the insurance coverage denial is handled properly.

Personal Injury Protection Insurance (PIP) (Medical Providers)

At Licznerski Law, PLLC, I am aware of the critical role that medical providers play in the recoveries of auto accident victims across Florida. I also understand the frustrating reality of dealing with PIP insurance companies that deny legitimate claims. You work tirelessly to provide quality care; you deserve to be compensated fairly and promptly.

Florida’s personal injury protection (PIP) laws are complex, and insurance companies often employ various tactics to minimize their payouts. They count on medical providers being too busy to challenge every denial or underpayment. That’s when I step in. At my firm, I am dedicated to helping Florida medical providers recover the PIP benefits they are rightfully owed. I will act as your advocate, leveraging my in-depth knowledge of Florida PIP law to hold insurance companies accountable.

Once I identify recoverable claims, I send clear and assertive demand letters to the insurance carriers, detailing the amounts owed and the legal basis for payment.

I represent all types of medical providers, including the following:

  • Chiropractors
  • Orthopedists
  • Neurologists
  • Diagnostic facilities (MRI, CT Scans, X-rays)
  • Physical therapists
  • Medical doctors (MDs)
  • Osteopathic doctors (DOs)
  • Hospitals and emergency care centers

Property Insurance

When disaster strikes, you rely on your property insurance to protect your home or business. But what happens when your insurer denies your claim, delays payment or offers you far less than you deserve? You shouldn’t have to navigate this complex and frustrating process on your own.

At my firm, Licznerski Law, PLLC, I am dedicated to representing property insurance policyholders like you. I understand the tactics that insurance companies use, and I will fight for your rights and work to ensure that you receive the full and fair compensation you are owed.

I can assist you with a wide range of property insurance claim issues, including the following:

  • Denied claims: Your claim was outright rejected, and you believe it shouldn’t have been.
  • Delayed payments: Your insurer is dragging its feet, causing undue financial hardship.
  • Underpaid claims: The offer you received is insufficient to cover the actual damages.
  • Bad faith insurance practices: Your insurer acted unfairly or deceptively.
  • Disputes over the scope of damages: You and your insurer disagree on the extent of the damage.
  • Hurricane and storm damage claims: Your property sustained damage from severe weather events, and you are seeking compensation to cover repairs and replacements.
  • Fire damage claims: A fire has caused significant damage to your home or belongings, and you are filing a claim to cover structural repairs.
  • Water damage claims: You are requesting coverage for repairs after water intrusion from floods, leaks or burst pipes has damaged your property.
  • Theft and vandalism claims: Your property has been damaged or items stolen due to criminal activity.
